Vendor Applications

Hi there!

We are pleased to invite you to apply as a vendor for the 2026 Night Market BTR, a vibrant celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month and the Year of the Horse, and a festival rooted in Asian culture, creativity, and community.

Night Market BTR will take place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, on N. 4th Street in front of the Louisiana State Capitol in Downtown Baton Rouge.

This dynamic event will showcase the rich diversity of cuisines, cultures, and artistic expressions within the Greater Baton Rouge Area and beyond. With authentic cultural foods, live performances, artistic displays, and an anticipated attendance of over 10,000 guests, Night Market BTR will be an unforgettable experience. Admission will be ticketed. Deadline to apply is February 20, 2026.

Vendor Selection

We are seeking vendors whose concepts are inspired by, rooted in, or thoughtfully celebrate Asian cultures, including food, art, crafts, fashion, and experiences.

Vendors of all backgrounds are welcome to apply. Selection is based on:

  • Cultural relevance and authenticity of the concept

  • Respectful representation of Asian traditions or modern expressions

  • Quality, originality, and storytelling

  • Alignment with the overall Night Market BTR experience

Our goal is to create an immersive, joyful environment that honors Asian culture while welcoming everyone to participate and attend.

To help food vendors manage high demand, each food vendor will be permitted to sell up to four items to ensure efficient service and shorter wait times.

Vendor Fee

To participate as a food vendor, a $475 payment must be submitted upon approval. Art vendors are required to submit a $315 payment upon approval.

If additional booth space is required, an extra 10' x 10' space can be purchased for a total of $850 for a 10' x 20' space.

Vendor and Booth Space

  • Vendors are responsible for all equipment and ingredients. A generator will be available. We recommend bringing a small generator if you have one for backup purposes.

  • Each vendor is allocated a 10' x 10' booth space. If additional space is needed, an extra 10' x 10' space may be purchased for a total fee of $850 for a 10' x 20' space.

Tents and Weather Preparedness

  • We strongly recommend using a sturdy tent with a durable roof to withstand wind, rain, and other weather conditions.

  • All tents must be secured with sandbags or water weights to ensure stability in case of strong winds. If your tent is not secured, you will not be able to participate on the day of the event.

  • Vendors should come fully prepared for all types of weather, as this is an outdoor event.

Food and Ingredient Requirements

  • All items being served or displayed must remain within your designated booth space.

  • Vendors serving food must provide a complete list of ingredients to accommodate allergy concerns.

Weather Policy

Night Market BTR is a rain or shine event. In the case of thunderstorms or severe weather, vendor fees are non refundable. Any decision to delay, modify, or reschedule the event will be made at the discretion of the Night Market BTR team. Since you read through the page, our password for the form is Year4NMBTR.
